How it works

Three simple steps

1

Tell us about your pain

Fill out the short form below. Our team will contact you directly to get your MRI report. You can also fax it to us or have your imaging center send it directly.

2

We review it

Our spine team reviews your imaging alongside the symptoms you describe, so we look at the whole picture — not just one finding.

3

We call you

We’ll reach out to walk you through what we found and your options. If you’re a good fit, we’ll help you schedule a consultation with Dr. Wolff.

Is this for me?

An MRI review is a good next step if you…

  • Have been told you need a spinal fusion and want a second opinion
  • Still have pain after a previous back or neck surgery
  • Have a herniated or bulging disc, spinal stenosis, bone spurs or facet joint problems
  • Have pain, numbness or tingling running into your arms or legs
  • Have tried therapy, medication or injections without lasting relief
  • Live outside the Tampa Bay area and want to know if the trip is worth it before you travel

What to send

Your imaging, any way that’s easiest

  • MRI report — our team will contact you directly to get a copy
  • MRI images — if you have them on a CD/DVD or in an imaging portal, mention it in the form and we’ll tell you how to get them to us
  • Other imaging — CT scans or X-rays, if you have them
  • Prior surgery? — your operative report helps us understand what was done

Prefer to fax? Send your report to 754-755-1623 and include your name and phone number. Your imaging center can also fax it to us directly.

Questions

MRI review FAQ

Is the MRI review really free?

Yes. There is no charge for the review and no obligation to schedule a consultation or procedure afterward.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No. You can send us your MRI directly.

How old can my MRI be?

A recent MRI is best, but send what you have. If your imaging is older or your symptoms have changed since it was taken, we’ll let you know whether updated imaging would help.

I don’t have an MRI yet. Can you still help?

Yes. Fill out the form anyway and tell us about your symptoms. Our team will follow up to talk through next steps.

I live out of state or in Canada. Can I still send my MRI?

Absolutely. Many of our patients travel to Florida for treatment, and an MRI review is the best way to find out whether the trip makes sense before you plan it. Our procedures are outpatient, with no hospital stay.

What about insurance and cost if I need treatment?

The review itself is free. If treatment is recommended, our team will go over your coverage and costs with you before anything is scheduled. You can also learn more on our Insurance and Financing pages.

Don’t commit to a fusion until you’ve had a second look.

An MRI review is an initial look at your imaging, not a diagnosis or treatment plan. A full evaluation with Dr. Wolff is required before any treatment is recommended. If you have sudden weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or numbness in the groin area, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
