What we correct
Revision surgery doesn’t have to mean another large operation

- Adjacent segment disease above or below a fusion — treated without extending the fusion in many cases.
- Painful, loose or misplaced hardware — removed through a small opening with special instrumentation.
- Outpatient care — procedures are performed through small openings, and most patients go home the same day.
Dr. Wolff has more than 25 years of experience, and correcting previously failed procedures is one of the things our team does most. Our goal is to avoid additional fusion and implanted hardware whenever possible.

Is the review really free?
Yes. There is no charge for the review and no obligation to schedule a consultation or procedure afterward. No referral is needed.
Can a failed back surgery be corrected?
Often, yes. Depending on the cause, treatment may involve decompressing a nerve that is still compressed, treating the level above or below a fusion, or removing hardware that has become painful. The first step is finding the specific reason the original surgery didn’t work.
Will I need another fusion?
Our goal is to avoid additional fusion and implanted hardware whenever possible, and most revision procedures we perform preserve the natural motion of the spine. Whether that applies to you depends on a full evaluation with Dr. Wolff.
How long after surgery should pain be evaluated?
Some soreness during recovery is normal. Pain that lasts for months, returns after improving, or feels different from your original pain should be evaluated.
I don’t have my MRI or operative report. Can you still help?
Yes. Fill out the form and tell us about your symptoms and previous surgery. Our team will follow up and help you get the records we need.
I live out of state or in Canada. Can I still send my MRI?
Absolutely. Many of our patients travel to Florida for treatment, and a review is the best way to find out whether the trip makes sense before you plan it. Our procedures are outpatient, with no hospital stay.
